Abstract

This painting, titled "Abstract," presents a vibrant, almost dizzying array of overlapping geometric and organic forms that seem to pulse with an inner light. Created in 1948, it reflects a post-war exploration of non-representational art, moving away from direct depiction towards an evocation of mood and energy. The composition is dynamic, with angular shapes cutting through softer, more fluid passages of color.
