Piotr Tadeusz Potworowski (1898–1962) was a Polish painter whose career spanned significant artistic hubs, from avant-garde Paris to wartime London and eventually back to Poland. Born in Warsaw, his early life was marked by the tumult of World War I, during which he volunteered for the Polish Cavalry Brigade. After the war, he pursued art, first in Warsaw and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where he developed a keen interest in French painting. In 1924, Potworows…
