Henri Edmond Cross

Born Henri-Edmond-Joseph Delacroix in 1856, Henri-Edmond Cross was a French painter and printmaker who became a pivotal figure in the second phase of Neo-Impressionism. Early in his career, Cross's works, such as portraits and still lifes, were characterized by the dark colors of Realism.
