ABOUT

Born in London in 1755, Thomas Stothard began his artistic journey as an apprentice draughtsman for brocaded silks in Spitalfields. However, his true passion lay in illustrating the works of his favorite poets, a talent that caught the eye of James Harrison, editor of the Novelist's Magazine.
