Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz

Born in Warsaw in 1885, Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, or Witkacy as he was known, was a true Renaissance man of the early 20th century. The son of a painter and art critic, he was homeschooled in Zakopane, where he was encouraged to develop diverse creative talents.
