Sir George Clausen

Born in London in 1852 to a Danish decorative artist father and Scottish mother, Sir George Clausen embarked on a successful artistic journey early on. He honed his skills at the South Kensington Schools and later in Paris under masters like Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury at the Académie Julian.
