Roelant Roghman, born in Amsterdam on March 14, 1627, was a significant Dutch Golden Age painter, sketcher, and engraver. His artistic lineage was strong: his father, Henrick Lambertsz Roghman, was an engraver, and his mother, Maria Jacobs Savery, hailed from the notable Savery family.
