Rik Wouters

Hendrik Emil Wouters, known as Rik, was a Belgian artist whose brief but prolific career left behind a vibrant body of work. Born in Mechelen in 1882, Wouters initially followed in his ornamental sculptor father's footsteps, developing a passion for craft and drawing from a young age.
