ABOUT

Born in Verona in 1707, Pietro Rotari embarked on a truly peripatetic artistic journey that saw him travel across Europe, leaving a trail of exquisite portraits and altarpieces in his wake. His early training was diverse, beginning with Antonio Balestra, then moving to Venice from 1725 to 1727.
