Pietro Lorenzetti

Pietro Lorenzetti, born around 1280 in Siena, was a pivotal Italian painter active between approximately 1306 and 1345. Alongside his younger brother, Ambrogio, he introduced a groundbreaking naturalism into Sienese art.
