Nishikawa Sukenobu

Nishikawa Sukenobu (1671–1750) was a prominent Japanese printmaker who broke from the norm by establishing his career in Kyoto, the imperial capital, rather than Edo (modern Tokyo), where most ukiyo-e artists resided.
