ABOUT

Born in Lublin in 1866, Józef Pankiewicz was a pivotal figure in introducing modern French art to Poland. His artistic journey began with studies in Warsaw under Wojciech Gerson and Aleksander Kamiński, followed by a scholarship to the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg.
