Giorgio Ghisi

Giorgio Ghisi, born in Mantua in 1520, was a highly influential Italian engraver who played a significant role in disseminating the late Mannerist style across Europe. Though his early artistic training isn't fully documented, it's believed he learned engraving from Giovanni Battista Scultori.
