Born in Bruges, Belgium, in 1867, Frank Brangwyn's artistic journey began early, influenced by his architect father and an apprenticeship with the legendary William Morris. Largely self-taught, he sold his first painting at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition at just 17, solidifying his path as an artist.
