ABOUT

Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, in 1886, Diego Rivera began drawing at the tender age of three. His supportive parents, recognizing his early talent, even installed chalkboards on their walls to encourage him. This early passion blossomed into a lifelong dedication to art, leading him to study at the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City from age ten, and later in Europe.
