Cesare Vecellio

Cesare Vecellio (c. 1521 – c. 1601) was an Italian draftsman and painter who made his mark during the Renaissance, primarily active in Venice. Born in Cadore in the Veneto region, he was the cousin of the renowned painter Titian. Cesare's early career was closely tied to his more famous relative; he accompanied Titian to Augsburg in 1548 and likely worked as his assistant.
