Sir Ernest Albert Waterlow (1850-1919) was a distinguished British landscape painter who rose to the highest ranks of the Victorian and Edwardian art establishment. Having won the prestigious Turner medal for landscape painting at the Royal Academy in 1873, he went on to become President of the Royal Watercolour Society and a Royal Academician.
